Soot version 1.2.0 is released!

Soot version 1.2.0 is now available for download on our web page!

    http://www.sable.mcgill.ca/soot

This version includes a number of new features, including support for
annotating Java class files (Feng Qian and Patrice Pominville), 
a clean implementation of Variable Type Analysis (Felix Kwok) and
a new, improved typing system (Etienne Gagnon).  There are also a
number of bug fixes and some new documentation.

I would like to thank Feng Qian, who put many hours into preparing
and testing this release.

We would love to hear any comments about this new release.  

If you are at OOPSLA 2000 next week, you can pick up a free Soot CD
from us.  We will be presenting a poster on Soot at the poster
session.
