I'm afraid I never attempted to summarize the disparate--and sometimes
contradictory--information that the different profilers produced
about where time was being spent.  

Nevertheless, I put three reports that are somewhat related at

Only the 621 presentation is likely to be of interest, since it
does show some screen shots from PerfAnal and OptimizeIt
attributing CPU usage to different methods.  

The 621 report is a rambling narrative about the changes I
attempted, and probably not what you are looking for.

The 764 report has some pretty pictures, but they require rather
more interpretation than the report provides.
